Efua NyansaA password is the boundary of what is held between people. It is the way we keep our own truths tucked away so that the soul has a place to rest, even when the house is full. When a person guards what is known only to them, they create a space where trust can grow, because they know that what is shared is precious. This way of keeping things close protects the inner life from those who would take without asking.
The weight of this dream is that a secret kept too tightly can become a wall that no one can climb. You might find that the very thing you use to protect yourself ends up leaving you in a silence that no one can break. We see this when the lines between what is shared and what is hidden become too sharp. Yet, there is a peace in knowing where your own truth begins. May the things you hold dear find their way to the right hands when the time is right. An elder sits by the fire, watching the sparks rise, knowing that some things are better left in the dark.
In the dream where you are forgetting a password, the inner sanctuary where you keep your most intimate truths has become unreachable. Because the way you hold your own truth has slipped from your grasp, you stand before a gate that you can no longer pass, child.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
