Efua NyansaA mirror shows you the truth of who you are and how your name is carried among your people. This dream points to the way you stand before the eyes of your kin and the way you see your own soul when the noise of the world falls away.
When you seek to understand your standing, you find that how you are known by others grows from the honesty you hold in your heart. A person who lives with a clear face brings peace to the household, for there is no shadow between what is shown and what is known. If the view is obscured, the connections between you and your people may fray. You find that your true condition is the ground upon which your life is built, and the clarity of this ground brings strength to all who dwell near you. May your path be as bright as a well-tended flame.
The effort of a dirty mirror or the act of cleaning a mirror shows you are attempting to lift a veil from your own eyes. This dream means you are working to bring what is hidden into the light, as a blurred view keeps you from knowing the reality of your own heart.
A broken mirror signifies that trust has been fractured, and this dream warns that the bonds holding your circle together are under strain. The pieces show that the way you are known by others has been split, and you can no longer find a single, unbroken path to walk upon.
To be buying a mirror is to seek a new way to see your standing among your kin. This dream shows that you are looking for a fresh way to judge your own actions and how they are weighed by those who surround you.
If you find yourself looking in the mirror and do not know the face that meets your gaze, you have lost your way back to yourself. This dream reveals that you have drifted from the person your people know, and the distance between your true self and your outward life is growing.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
