Kinship at the heart of dream readings

Dream about a mask

Efua NyansaTell your dream

A mask in a dream means that something is being held back from the light of the people who belong to you. It is a sign that the way you present yourself to the household does not match the truth of what you are carrying. When people hide their intentions, the air between them grows thick and the trust that holds a family together begins to fray.

You may find that you are shielding your true self to avoid the weight of being known, but this distance only makes the people around you feel a sudden chill. This dream shows that what is kept in the shadows eventually leaves the common table feeling empty. If you are hiding, the walls of the home become harder to lean upon.

The truth is a shared burden that, once carried, makes the path easier for everyone. May your heart find the courage to be seen so that your kin may truly know you.

Seeing a face mask or wearing a mask in a dream shows that you are actively choosing to present a version of yourself that is not whole. This choice demands that you constantly watch your words and your eyes so that the real you does not slip through. Because you are laboring to keep your true thoughts from being known, the people around you are met with a shadow instead of a face.

Dream about falling down
Efua Nyansa

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams

Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
