Efua NyansaA kitten being eaten is a sign that you are crushing the very things that bring light and curiosity into your life. When we turn against our own softness, we sever the ties that connect us to the gentle parts of our spirit and to those who depend on our warmth.
This dream shows how a person can become the instrument of their own hardening, consuming the small joys that once made a house feel like a home. You may find that in trying to protect yourself or to assert a certain strength, you are actually destroying the tender impulses that allow for true connection. There is a heaviness in seeing how easily we can swallow the things we should be nurturing. It is a way of becoming empty by consuming what is most precious. May you find the way back to the things that move you with kindness. I have seen a mother sit by a hearth and let her fire go out because she feared the smoke would wake the sleeping.
The presence of a cat eating kittens turns the meaning toward the danger of a false companion. You are dealing with a person who wears the mask of a friend only to prey upon the things you hold dear.
A snake eating a kitten or a tarantula eating a kitten reveals a fear that creeps through the shadows to stifle your spirit. This dream shows how a silent, predatory force works to extinguish the small sparks of wonder that keep you alive.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
