Dream about a holiday

A holiday is the breath of relief that a household takes when the heavy work of the hands and the mind is set aside. You find that this dream speaks of the way you seek to set down your burdens and find gladness among those you belong to. When people move toward this rest, they are moving toward a time where the spirit can be mended by the presence of others and the absence of demand.

You may feel the pull of this desire to leave your labor behind, but the dream shows how the heart prepares for such a change. If the path is clear, the joy of the rest reaches the whole house, yet if the way is blocked, the weight of what you have left undone remains. It is a dream that shows whether your peace is a gift you can actually hold or a shadow that retreats when you reach for it. May your rest be as deep as the soil after the rain.

The way you prepare for or find yourself missing a holiday tells us if the weight of your duties still clings to your shoulders. If you are packing or if the time of rest passes you by, it is because the tasks you have not yet finished still keep you tethered to your labor. Even as you, child, look toward the horizon of ease, these details show that the duties of the household are not yet finished with you.

The ease with which you depart in a dream of going on a holiday shows that your spirit has already cast off its heaviest weights. Such a departure means you have cleared the way to welcome the stillness that follows a long season of toil.

To be winning a holiday is a sign that the gladness you seek is already being handed to you. This victory means the rest is a thing you hold in your hands right now, and it brings peace to you and all who dwell with you.

When you are getting lost on holiday, the dream shows a confusion that deepens as you wander away from the path you know. This straying means the relief you seek is being shadowed by a loss of certainty in your own direction.
