Efua NyansaA guitar brings the news of what is being gathered and spoken in the small corners of your life. When you dream of such an instrument, you are seeing how your own private feelings find their way into the air and reach the ears of those you live beside. This is a dream of how words and songs move through a household, bringing the news that travels between neighbors and kin.
The way you handle these feelings determines how the people around you receive them. If the news is spoken with care, it builds a bridge, but if the news is scattered, it only creates a noise that no one can use. We see that the way you find your voice affects the peace of the courtyard and the strength of your ties to your people. You find that your own expression is a gift to the house when it is clear and true. May your words move with a rhythm that keeps the peace for all who listen to you.
The process of learning to play the guitar shows that you are currently finding the way to say what is in your heart. You are walking a path where your feelings are still being shaped before they are ready for the ears of the village. You are working to make your inner life a thing that can be shared without causing confusion.
When you see a bass guitar, the dream shifts from the news of the house to the very foundation of your relationships. This sound is the low, heavy beat that keeps the feet of your kin moving together. It means your ability to offer calm and grounded advice provides the rhythm that allows everyone else to find their own place.
The dream of a broken guitar or buying a guitar speaks to the way you acquire or lose your ability to connect with your people. To buy the instrument is to seek a new way to bring yourself into the circle, while a broken one shows how a sudden discord can interrupt the flow of your spirit. In both cases, the dream points to how the tools of your expression are either being gathered or are failing you, child.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
