Efua NyansaA grasshopper in a dream marks a time where your efforts are pulled in many directions at once. We have seen that when a person tries to follow many paths without finishing the first, the harvest of their labor is spread too thin to feed the household.
This scattering of focus brings a sense that what you build is being eaten away by small, constant distractions. You may find that your attention is stolen by trifles, leaving the core of your life untended. It is a season where the work of your hands feels as though it is slipping through your fingers. Such a dream warns that your stability is not at risk from a single blow, but from the many small losses that come from a lack of stillness. May you hold fast to the work at hand, and may the hearth of your house be left in peace.
A grasshopper in the house means the loss of focus has entered the very center of your life. When the peace of your private rooms is disturbed by these small interruptions, the order of your daily way is what suffers most.
The dream of eating grasshoppers shows a person who takes in the very things that cause their own ruin. By consuming these small distractions, you are making the scattered nature of your life a part of your own strength, which only serves to weaken your ability to build anything lasting.
When you find yourself catching grasshoppers or buying grasshoppers, you are actively inviting the very distractions that will scatter your strength. Instead of guarding what you have, you are gathering the very things that will consume your time and your peace.
When you are killing a grasshopper, you act to stop the small things from eating away at your life. This deed clears a space for you to look at your work again without the noise of trifles.
Grasshoppers in bed mean the small, restless things of the world have followed you into the place where you and your partner find rest. When these trifles disturb the shared sleep of a household, the bond between those who are joined is what suffers, child.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
