Efua NyansaA golden retriever in a dream marks a spirit of constant, unearned devotion that seeks to bind you to the warmth of the hearth. This presence shows how you offer your heart to those who surround you, moving with a loyalty that asks for nothing in return. We have seen that a heart which stays open and true like this can smooth the rough edges between neighbors, much like a person who carries water to a thirsty field.
You act as a bridge of affection between the people you belong to, much like an elder who sits by the fire to keep the cold from the door. This dream often arrives when you are learning to trust the goodness that exists without condition, a quality that makes the bonds of your kin stronger and more resilient. Such a gentle way of relating brings a lightness to the shared life of your people. There is a weight, however, in a devotion that forgets its own boundaries, where the desire to please can leave you hollowed out by the needs of others. May your kindness always find a way to nourish your own soul as it waters the garden of your home.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
