Efua NyansaA donkey appears when the wisdom of the household is being tested by a lack of sense. This dream points to a way of acting that lacks the foresight we need to keep the peace among our kin and neighbors.
When we follow a path that ignores the lessons of those who came before, we find ourselves walking into shadows. This lack of judgment brings a heaviness to the way we move through the world, and it can leave you feeling as though you are walking alone in a field of dry grass. Such a dream warns that the foolishness you carry might distance you from the ones you love. If you heed the words of the ones who sat by the fire before you, child, you will find your feet back on the right track. May your path be cleared of all stumbling stones.
Riding a donkey in a dream means you have taken up a position of influence based on a lack of understanding. This weight is heavy because you are leading others toward a mistake you do not yet see.
Being chased by a donkey signifies that the consequences of a foolish choice are finally catching up to you. You cannot run from the reckoning that arrives when we refuse to see the truth of our own actions.
A dead donkey shows that the capacity for a certain kind of senselessness has finally been exhausted. The noise of the mistake has died away, and you are left standing in the stillness that follows.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
Has my dream been interpreted?
